So adopting a cloud pbx was an obvious choice to retain our widely advertised numbers. The features I now have are fantastic, I can even configure all the changes myself from a web page.”
We installed a leased line to provide 100Mb dedicated Ethernet. Our Security Gateway Appliance was installed which provides excellent control of the firewall and provides blistering speeds.
Their warehouse management system uses scanners to record and control stock, so it was imperative to have a flawless WiFi network throughout their premises, especially in the expansive warehouse. The Unleashed version of the very popular Ruckus product range was selected, providing a central point of management and a resilient virtual controller.
A Category 6 structured wiring system was installed throughout the premises to provide telephone, WiFi and PC connectivity in office and warehouse areas. All cabling emanates from a single 42U cabinet in the Comms Room where all other IT and communications equipment is installed.
