IT & Telecoms firm, easyNetworks, is delighted to announce its support for the young footballers playing in Portsmouth’s Fleur-de-Lys Football Club’s U15 Nelson team, by providing the shirts for their next season.
Teenagers with a passion for the great game have been showing off their new kit during training at Drayton Park in Cosham. The orange flashes across their chests announce their new kit sponsor as Portsmouth’s leading IT & Telecoms provider, easyNetworks.
‘One of our engineers told us that the team was looking for sponsorship, and we were delighted to step forward,’ said easyNetworks’ Managing Director Richard Gwilliam. ‘I have always felt local businesses need to offer support outside their own corporate communities whenever possible and seeing these young people take pride in their new kit is tremendously satisfying.’
Fleur-de-Lys FC, which has been running for over 50 years, achieved the Football Association’s Charter Standard in 2003, became the first club in the City of Portsmouth to achieve its Community Standard two years later and, in 2015, was voted ‘FA Charter Standard Club Of The Year’.
‘Fleur De Lys FC is more than just a football club,’ explains Team Manager, Paul Urry. ‘It’s a community, a family and we strive to produce well rounded, healthy young people, so contributions from local businesses such as easyNetworks are greatly appreciated and a big part of our success.’
