    What is IoT?

    IoT meaning, or the Internet of Things, refers to a network of physical devices connected to the internet, capable of collecting, sharing, and acting on data. These devices range from everyday household items to sophisticated industrial tools.

    How does IoT work?

    IoT devices are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies that allow them to connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet. This data can be used for monitoring, analysis, and automation.

    What if there is a mobile network failure?

    These connections have inherent resilience as they use multiple mobile networks, so if their primary network fails for any reason, the connections will use an alternative.

    Are the IoT connections secure?

    IoT security varies by device and network. Implementing strong security measures, such as encryption, secure authentication, regular updates, and using IoT VPNs, can significantly enhance the security of IoT systems.

    Why not just use a standard Mobile broadband?

    Typically IoT connections use very little data, and our IoT data packages are very low monthly cost compared to mobile broadband data SIMs.  Also, a mobile broadband is usually on just one network, so if there is a mast failure in your area, all your devices will stop working.

    Are the M2M Sims physical or can we have eSIMs?

    eSIMs are available on most network and services and can be used if your hardware supports eSIM.
