Why choose easyNetworks for your Mobile signal booster in construction?

With nearly 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications and data networking industry, easyNetworks has a long track record on construction projects. We are CHAS-accredited, our engineers hold ECS cards, and our team has the expertise to supply and install a mobile signal booster that meets your building’s unique requirements.

We’re not just telecoms specialists—we’re a contractor who knows construction inside out. Reading plans, understanding site plans and building layouts, and designing networks is our bread and butter. Our teams work comfortably within a build programme, coordinating with other trades to avoid interruptions. We also use advanced RF measuring devices and spectrum analysers to map the site and ensure reliable, high-performance mobile coverage throughout your building.

Why plan for Mobile signal early?

Planning for a mobile signal booster during the design and fit-out stage is the easiest way to avoid expensive and disruptive retrofits later. A few additional network cables installed at first fix mean you can add mobile coverage before ceiling tiles go up—or give building owners the flexibility to install a solution in the future without impacting the programme or budget.

Get in touch with us early, and we’ll carry out a free desktop survey to assess the likelihood of mobile signal issues in your building. We’ll provide a clear plan showing where the hardware would go, so you can first fix the necessary cables and future-proof your building with minimal effort.

Mobile signal boosters and Ofcom

Indoor mobile coverage used to be an unsolvable problem—Ofcom strictly limited repeater use, making boosters effectively illegal. That changed in recent years, when Ofcom relaxed its rules, allowing licence-exempt mobile signal boosters so long as they meet precise technical requirements.

We’ve partnered with Nextivity, whose CEL-FI range is fully compliant with Ofcom’s licence exemption regime and approved by major UK networks.  These solutions are among the most powerful on the market—delivering up to 1,000× stronger signal, crystal-clear calls, faster data, and built-to-last performance even in tough environments.

What our customers say about our mobile signal boosters

FAQs about mobile signal boosters UK

Is your mobile signal booster Ofcom compliant?

Our mobile signal boosters are fully Ofcom compliant, ensuring they meet the highest standards for safety and performance. Enjoy enhanced signal strength, reliable connectivity, and peace of mind knowing your booster is approved by the UK’s communications regulator.

    What is Nextivity Cel-Fi?

Cel-Fi is a line of advanced mobile signal boosters developed by Nextivity. These devices are designed to enhance cellular signal strength and quality for improved voice and data performance in various environments, including homes, offices, and vehicles.

How does a mobile signal booster work?

The mobile signal booster uses intelligent signal processing technology to amplify weak cellular signals. They receive the existing signal from the nearest cell tower, boost it, and then rebroadcast the amplified signal within the desired coverage area. This results in stronger, more reliable cellular connectivity.

Are Nextivity Cel-Fi mobile signal booster legal to use?

Yes, They are designed to comply with regulatory standards set by organizations such as Ofcom in the UK. Additionally, they are carrier-approved, ensuring they meet specific performance and safety requirements.

    Which networks can be boosted?

Cel-Fi boosters are compatible with most major UK mobile network operators.

What is the difference between a mobile signal repeater and a Wi-Fi signal repeater?

Wi-Fi signal repeaters (or boosters) are devices that extend the reach of your Wi-Fi network by amplifying weak signals to reduce Wi-Fi dark spots and improve coverage.  Mobile signal boosters improve the mobile signal received from mobile networks indoors.

Will certain materials in my building affect the unit from working correctly?

Yes, some building constructions can have an impact on the coverage of the solution.  Older buildings often have thicker walls restricting the coverage and some modern buildings have foil-backed insulation and thermally-reflective glass can have a similar effect.

What's the radiation level of CEL-FI units?

Anything with a SAR rating of less than 2.0 is defined as safe’. These units have a SAR rating below 2.0.  The power emitted from these derives is not greater in general than any other wireless networking devices and smartphones.
